I'm not sure how to remove the stain, but I'm SO glad Silly Putty is still around!

The basic trick to removing any stain is to find out what the base is (oil, water, alcohol, etc) and then add lots and lots of it to thin out the stain to nothing. Silly putty isn't toxic, so the base isn't likely alcohol. Check the container to see what ingredients it lists (it might even list cleaning agents). The other possible source of info would be a silly putty website. Whatever cleaning agent is suggested, try it someplace where it won't show, just in case.

If the putty is still gum-like use ice to freeze it then it should peel off if a dye stain is still there use a bleach pen or something to that effect. Put a old rag or something under it so it doesn't transfer to the other side of the shirt or whatever surface you put it on.

Try a bleach pen. Rub it in leave it on for a few seconds and rinse. If it looks like its coming out keep doing it till the stain is all gone.
