This would allow for a better outcome than what we, as a global community, are moving towards. Religions are a way of defining and dividing people. Christians like to claim that the US was founded on chrisitan principles, when the founding fathers were, for the most part, Deists. Americans are supposed to have "religious freedom", but the Christians think that is only if the religion that is being chosen is Christianity. There is no coexistence between the religions and I don't think that there is a way to. People should look to other sources for the why's that they are seeking. More like look into themselves.

Religions give a lot of people hope and something to look forward to in this cruel world so I don't think everyone would be better off without religions. The problem is with those people within religions that are intolerant of other religions as they feel their religion is the only one.

I think it would stop alot of the fighting but we would probably find something else to separate each other in to groups and fall out about. but then again which religion tells you kill other people? none of them, but they do, so is religion just an excuse to fight? if so they would fight no matter what.

possibly but most religions get perverted from their original intentions. if you look at the origins of a religion generally they had good basis but get changed by people who think they can improve them

Yeah... we would. I wish that there wasn't because then people wouldn't be fighting, and stuff like that. Like one of my friends tell me to be a Christian... well... what if I don't want to be? If there was only one though.... which would it be? There was already alot to begin with!
