Ladies, ever been on a road trip and had to pee really bad but no restrooms for miles?

I like to travel on the Blue Ridge Parkway on the weekends. There are many pretty views and hiking trails. However, there are virtually no restrooms on it, not even at the look out points. Many of the times, I am forced to walk on some hiking trail for privacy behind a bush or tree. I am curious how many other women have been on long car rides and were forced to pee somewhere other than in a bathroom? Exactly what did you do?

Oh yea, happens to the best of us! Beg, borrow or steal T.P. or kleenex before you hike...worst case scenario, look for clean leaves.. Try to avoid leaves of three ;-P
I have a friend with a small bladder and a large beer appetite, lets just say the golf courses hate her!

I was on a hiking trip, not in a car at all, but walking all the way up to a mountain (about 6 hours walk, I was so unfit), by the time I got on the top it was too dark to go anywhere for a pee. I managed to sleep, and then as soon as the sun was rising I really had to go! I did not care if I did it in front of the rest of the group, but in the end I found some privacy behind the bushes. And I had no Kleenex or anything, not even leaves.. My God, I was in agony having spent more than 12 hours without a pee. Once the bladder is full then you just have to go..

I always carry a small pack of Kleenex with me. I'm not afraid to go behind a bush or tree. I've had to do it on a cross country road trip when we moved from California to Indiana. It was on the highway and there was nowhere to get any privacy. I stood between the car and the U-Haul and went there. The most difficult place to go was in Dubai. I was sinking in the sand while squatting and could hardly get back up. The sand there is like fine flour and I went behind some sort of big tumbleweed. You should see the people over here in Shanghai, China. That is where I live now. Taxi drivers pull over their cars and go in the grass or bushes, and people go poop and pee right on the sidewalks. Babies don't even wear diapers. I've seen mothers holding their children over trash cans!

I've travelled in China and sometimes "going bush" ie peeing outside in the open air, was far far far better than some of the toilets on offer at the service stations.
Take wet ones or tissues and a plastic bag, and some antibacterial hand gel.
It's not that bad.

Haha, There was a bever once, when I went to pee, and he was rustleing in the bushes right after I started to pee. Mind you, When he ran out, I got so scared, Everyone ran away, and I was left there, scared to death, peeing! Make sure you wack the area with a stick before you kneel down to pee! That's my advie to you!
