Sorry, I haven't read the book but could not resist your question. When I was 21 I visited Dakow(sp) concentration camp. I was raised in a family of meat cutters in our family owned slaughterhouse and thought myself to be immune to anything shocking too others. I was completely wrong! I was horrified and sickened by what I saw and more by what I felt. I actually vomited after leaving the museum of whatever you want to call it. I've never in life been to such a haunted place. I could feel the presence of the dead everywhere. It left an everlasting impression on me and I certain your book would also. Thanks for letting me vent these feelings. It's been 26 yrs. and it still turns my stomach.
