You definetely can. Just set your iPod in both computer to manually manage music. I did this with mine. I use it in my laptop and with my brother's desktop. When you connect it in the second computer, iTunes will ask you if you want to delete all the songs from the iPod and load the new library, so be careful, read and say No or Cancel.

You can't-But if you find out let me know!!

When you connect an iPod to an iTunes Library it mounts it in the browser-from there you can Manually or Automatically Refresh your iPod.
But when Connecting to other iTunes I have found it Erases all tunes on the ipod!!

I always back up my iTunes (Weekly) onto a portable Hard Drive just in case.
I'm glad as I have had whole Play-lists erased!
