It's unfair to ask this question seeing as Daniel Craig's first venture into the James Bond role hasn't been released yet. I grew up with Brosnan and Dalton as James Bond and I thought Pierce was brilliant but it's time for something new. Daniel Craig can bring youth, grit, a rough and ready feel to James Bond instead of sleek smoothness. It is time for the franchise to go down a different route and it's great to see the movies taking on a new lease of life. Can't wait to see Daniel.

Time to move on about all this! Brosnan is too old now and EON want to take the films in another direction, i.e: realism and, hopefully, less gadgets! Give Craig a chance, its not even released over here yet. They will probably let him go after the next one but I wanna see the movies get more like Bourne Supremacy and if Daniel Craig can do that then all the best to him!

Pierce Brosnan was fantastic at being Bond, he had the looks, charm and voice but i think it was time for a different Bond. Daniel Craig was an interesting choice even though when i heard it rumoured that it was going to be clive owen i was secretly hoping for him. But i think its stupid people not giving him a chance and for those fans who are shall i say devoted or whatever they are i think that they shall be too stubborn in their choices even after seeing his performance and shall still says its crap simply because they dont like him.
He must have done somthing to stand out in auditions so they wont have picked him out for nothing.

Only time will tell. Brosnan will take some beating but I think Daniel Craig might have what it takes. Just have to wait and see.

Daniel Craig, give the man a chance! He's been really good in everything else and I think it'll be great to see a darker side to Bond. I'm not a Bond fan, but I'll definately be going to see Casino Royale.

I've seen a trailer for the upcoming James Bond movie, and it looks like a stinker. Daniel Craig is short, ugly, and downright creepy looking. I'd never have recommended him for this role, but whatever. Pierce did a fantastic job, but I'd like to see Gerard Butler or maybe even Hugh Jackman try it. They're both ten times better looking than Craig.
