Very Much...............I am a Radio Announcer & I own my own Karaoke business. My voice has opened alot of doors for me that some people can't get a foot in the door of, just from my voice. That's how I got into Radio(my voice). Your voice tells people a little about you and who you are and definately your personality.
So, yes, I love my voice. It has been with me for the last 32 years and we havn'en't had any problems between the two of us.

Actually I have grown to be comfortable with it....and it comes across to others as a "Radio Voice" which I cannot hear....but it does. i am use to hearing myself on tape now and I can say I have a good voice and although i m always hypervilgilant about it, when i listen i am taken aback for a moment. I always hear room for improvement...and it is so important to me to have others hear where i am coming from from the sound of my voice......very good question by the way!

My normal voice is too high-pitched for my comfort level. I think this is true of almost everyone. However, I have found that, when I relax and don't take myself seriously, the pitch comes down almost an octave. I can live with that ... as long as I don't talk fast.

It drives me crazy. So much more highpitched than when I hear it, and I just sound so excited and agitated... unbelievable. My friend makes me listen to the messages I leave on his voicemail, and I honestly cannot understand why I haven't been hit more often.

I can't hear myself when I'm speaking, but when I was young and I would hear a recording of my voice I couldn't stand it!!! I haven't heard a recording of my voice in years. But I bet I would probably still hate it!

It sounds ok to me unless it's being recorded. Apparently your voice sounds different to you (in your head) than it actually does.
