Children need love and protection, period.
The only thing I can see wrong is there are a lot of family practice lawyers who will benefit and clog courts with custody fights.

There are no unethical reasons a gay couple should not adopt.In fact studies show that the children that are adopted by gay couples become happy productive well rounded adults.They also DO NOT turn gay because they were raised by gay parents.

I don't know - could an adopted child suffer if his Gay parents marriage is not recognized by the State or Federal Government? Could his/her inheritance be forfeit to the government for that reason? You asked for an UN-ethical reason. Does this qualify?

Ethics is all based on different groups. For instance Christian Ethics are different then Muslim Ethics. Just as US government ethics differ from French government ethics. So this question could be annswered multiple ways. Which Do you prefer?

Considering that they cannot produce a Child, why should they have one- and why should a child be raised in an abnormal situation.
