Yes, the US military up to this point has prevented a major civil war from happening in Iraq but what happens when the Iraqi Shittes get as sick of the US military as the Iraqi Sunnis? Which would mean the US military would be surrounded by enemies and even the US military would have a tough time killing millions of people. Do you think the US military would have to "cut & run" at that point or do you think Bush would stick with his no cutting and running policy and have the US military mow down as many Muslims as possible?

this is a lot like Vietnam in the fact that yes, we do have the power, but to flex that power means killing most of the populace, and that is something that America can not live with. So in the end, you will see a Civil War and you will see many more American and Iraqi deaths until then, at which time we'll pull out.
