It is so my favorite house scent. I have the candles and oils and I love the smell. That's one scent you either love or hate, there's really no in between. Most of my friends don't like it. My 2 daughters don't like it but my husband does.

Patchouli by itself is overwhelming. I used to have a friend in college who used to get perfumed oils mixed. She used to mix the patchouli with something called woodspice, which lessened the strong odor. It smelled really good !

I like the smell of patchouli as long as its not in a closed up room and to overpowering. It actually helps me relax.

I like the smell, but too many people smell like they bathe in it. A little goes a long way.

i love it. Have for years. I have very long hair and I sprinkle the oil onto my hair brush before I brush my hair so I can have scent of it all day.

I have found MANY more people don't like it, than do. I have even heard of people not being aloud to wear it to work per their boss.
Personally, I like it!

I dont think it is unpleasant but it does remind me of something old...like something from grandmas house

I think its ok, but not a favorite. I used to wear it when I was in college...

in large doses it give me migraines but if it a extremely light sense then i love it
