i'm dressing up as an arabian belly dancer for halloween and i'm on quite a tight budget (say £30ish) and was wondering if anyone had any ideas of how i could make an outfit? p.s even went through the pain of gettin my bellybutton pierced for this occasion! :P lol!

You can rent a or buy a belly dancing costume for not very much at all:

Get an old pair of net curtains and something that has lots of sequins onit to make a waste band. Use old scarves to make the top. You can always die everything to match. Home dyes are not very expensive and can be fun especially if you tie dye. Look round charity shops for things you can cut up. Used to make all my punk clothes this way back in the 70's. Never cost a lot.
