making silly mistakes in maths section and getting about 710 though can get 780-790!!writing and critical reading are at about 650-680!!want to get into MIT ,Princeton and the like for undergrad!SAT 1 on nov. 4!!

I would suggest that you look back at your old/practice exams and see what type of questions you missed. More likely that not, you will see a pattern - either missing questions because you didn't read them correctly, or perhaps you were pressed for time, or perhaps those questions on a particular topic you don't know very well. Recognize what exactly you need to do, do it, and relax! Wish you all the best on SAT!

Not bad, and good luck. Make sure you get a good night's sleep before the test to avoid fatigue. Also, bring water to the test and perhaps a snack. you might try getting up early and going for a hike before the test to calm your nerves and wake you up fully. Good luck, I'll find out in a few days if I improved on my 2170.
