I have a memory foam mattress and it is fantastic, so comfortable and supporting, you can lie anyway you like it does`nt matter it will not let you down, I paid about £200 pounds for it from Ideal World shopping channel because the guarantee from them was the best, you just put it on top of your mattress and wow it is great. It is a lot cheaper than new mattress`s and I really recommend them. take a chance and buy one, you can always change your mind (I know you won`t). By the way £200 was for two, single beds.

Mine is a Natulis. It is a air mattress, surrounded by foam & on the top is memory foam & two bed toppers that can be dry cleaned.
I would recomMend mine, as you can adjust the softness & a queen & up, there are two sides you can control seperately.
It is similar to a sleep number bed, but has less control over the exact amount of air in mattress.
You don't have to flip the bed, & you can dry clean the tops. That is why I got one! AND IT IS SOOOO COMFORTABLE!

I spent quite a bit of money on a really good quality mattress a few months ago (the hippo and duck one! lol) and it is absolute heaven. No aches and pains in the morning (im getting on a bit now you know) and a wonderful nights sleep. No more cheap matresses for me, even if I have to give up eating for a month to buy the next one lolol
I have a feather topper on top of the matress and that adds to the cosiness, especially in the winter.

I too love my sleep, and rest. My bed is too short for real comfort (it's 135 cm wide and joking called a "double" bed in Spain, and it's exactly 5 ft 7 in long because that's how tall I am). But I love pure cotton sheets; flannel for winter, polished cotton for summer. Nothing better than crisp, clean sheets after a hot shower. Rest assured!
For blankets, go for warm and light...something that isn't going to be heavy once you're under it. Try Icelandic wool blankets.
And remember, CRIB: Cooler Really Is Better. Make sure your bedroom is kept at a rather cool temperature; then you can enjoy snuggling under the blankets and sleeping.

Buy a water bed. I have had one for 15 years and wouldn't have anything else. You can get them is different styles, meaning some are very 'floppy' and others are quite firm.(No I'm not joking]. The firm ones have 'baffles' in them to stop them 'flopping' about too much. Some take a few seconds to settle and others take as much as 30 seconds to settle. Mine settles in 5 seconds. Also they are heated, so you can turn them down in the summer and up in the winder

I have a dunlop latex mattress, ( approx. £200), which is very comfortable and is on a solid pine base without springs , just slats. It never needs turning and apparently does not trap dust mites. I love my bedtime, especially after a hard days work, on colder nights getting into my bed with my heated under blanket on, and my partner beside me for comfort. Bliss !!!!

Since everyone has different body weights, comfort preferences, sleeping positions, and neck-back-hip issues, seeking a consensus on the most comfortable mattress configuration is unrealistic . . only you can determine that through trial and error. Some foam options to consider:
