For those of you that don't allow others to contact you through Yahoo answers, what are your reasons for this?
I personally don't mind if people contact me.

I like to be in charge of what is going on when people view my blog or myspace.com.. There are too many perverts out there. If I suspect something is going on or people I never have seen or heard of; I can block them and delete me from getting e-mail from someone I don't know. People did this to themselves when they started getting virus's. They put them on the people who was on their friend's list on (their 360 blog, or e-mail.) The awful things people do on here just makes me use the Internet cautiously. You need to also. Some virus's can ruin your computer. Be extra smart when you open your e-mails. If you don't know them then don't open your mail.

I dont want a bunch of stalkers contacting me personally, they can through yahoo, but not know my email addy.
Usually the only ones who do are those that dont like my answers or those who are perves.

I dont want some freak emailing me! I'm sure most of the people on answers are lovely but there are some strange ones on here!

I didn't realize I didn't allow others. However, it does seem rather wierd to want to talk to people you don't know about. There are a lot of bad people out there I'd rather not talk to.

i didnt mind but most ppl that do contact me end up being sleesy older men and its getting annoying

email and 360 links are availible, but not messenger. I use to have it all hidden because I was getting nasty emails. Now I just laugh at them.

Obviously, with the extremely attractive and sexy charisma i exude whilst answering questions, I'd have to deal with a legion of adoring fans that would love to get to know me. ;D
