As a Christian, and a Republican, I would think Jesus would be neither a Republican or a Democrat.

Funny, all these people believe that Jesus would be neither republican nor democrat yet, no one is following his example of being a radical and respecting the laws only to the point that the laws interfered with his work. WEIRD!

Jesus wouldn't lower himself to be either a Republican or Democrat. He would throw both of these evil, wicked, arrogant, contemptible, incompetent, corrupt political parties out of the 'temple', just as He did the moneychangers in His day.
I doubt that Jesus would have any tolerance at all for these cretins. -RKO-

I don't think He would like the way conservative Republicans conduct themselves, that is in an arrogant manner very similar to the Pharisees. Their disregard for the poor would also be an issue.

Get a grip! He lived far before any of these sort of designations came into play, and he would have been against any parties drawing divisive lines between people, as this inflamatory political question was clearly meant to do.

I believe he registered as a democrat in Ohio just before the 2004 election. Along with quite a few others that are no longer of this earthly plane.

Although there was no Republican party at the time, he stood for principles, and was persecuted like people today are persecuted who have sense and reason.
