It could be stress, the muscles of your throat can go into spasm making it feel like theres something stuck there. Ive had the same thing and its always when Im stressed out, the doctor told me about the muscle spasm thing so when it happens now I try to ignore it.

Not to be the beerer or bad news. But my mother had this problem and them her voice progressively got horse. We kept telling her that it was a cold and to just give it time. Thankfully she didn't fallow our advice. My mom went to the Dr. and she ended up having tumors on her throat and on her vocal cords. Thankfully that she went to the Dr. They caught it early enough and removed the tumors. She now goes to the Dr every 3 months and has to be rechecked but everything has been fine since then. GOOD LUCK

I have that too. I'm not sure and this sounds kinda gross, but I have a feeling that it's phlegm. No idea how to get rid of it, it's most likely caused by colds. Go see your doctor about it and please if you get a remedy tell me. I've had it for two years....

Why don't you try taking large sips of water while holding your arms up and extending your torso....swallow the water as hard as you can and see if you can push it down.
