Any herd the song by Hinder? She loves this song and truns up the radio everytime it comes on. The song talks about cheating, and how he wishes he could be her instead of the woman he is with. Messed up.

Introduce her to some of the lovely songs by either John Valby or Stephen Lynch. That'll teach her!

I love the song too! And I am not a cheater. My husband is actually the one that has had an affair in our relationship. He was surprised I liked the song since it seemed to him that it was sorta about cheating. But I think the song is about ending a relationship and not realizing how much you still care for the person until they come back in your life in some way. But regardless of what the song is about, just because you like a song...doesn't mean you are going to do or have done what the song is about. So I don't think you should be worried. But if you are then ask your wife why she likes the song so much. When you are married and love each other you should be able to ask about anything that concerns you. When you quit talking about things that concern or bother you...then you will have problems in your marriage. Not because of a song.

I agree, the message of the song is a little disturbing. But, I can see why your wife loves the song. Hinder is a great band, and Lips of an Angel is a fantastic tune. The melody, the voice, it's just a good song. I turn it up every time it comes on, but my husband has no need to worry. Don't over think this, she probably just really likes the song. :)

Woman do listen to the words. I love this song and I know the words but that doesn't mean I'm going to cheat on my husband. He's not actually saying he is unfaithful but that she makes it hard for him because they obviously still have feelings for each other. I would only be concerned if you think your wife still has feelings for someone else and this song reminds her of her situation. Even that doesn't mean she's going to act on anything. Maybe you could try and talk to her in a relaxed way about your concerns and maybe get a few things out in the open. No accusations. Sometimes our thoughts and suspicions can tend to get a little out of control if we don't talk about things and I'm guessing you have had something happen in your marriage to make you become suspicious over a song.

I wouldn't worry to much. My wife and I both love that song. For me, it has familiarity because I've been in that situation before. However, I doubt it has the "power" to make us leave each other. Some songs touch people without influencing them.

I also like the song, "Natural Born Killaz" by N.W.A., but I'm not planning on pulling anyone out of their truck and hitting them with a brick!

I don't think you should worry. My hubby and I love the song. Its a good song as far as they way its put together, just not the message. But if you really listen to the part where he say, you make it hard to be faithful, he has not cheated just thinking about it. And what man has not said "I'd do her", married or not, to some that is cheating

And the the moron who said women dont listen to the words we don't get it we get more than we let you know.

your "spouse" doesn't fee you as someone. end that sham of a wedding ceremony and flow ahead consisting of your life. in case your youthful lady buddy is open to the conception of a romantic relationship with then you definately each and every of the merrier yet when no longer .... then in basic terms bear in mind that there is a lot of fish in the sea yet at your age .... time isn't on your area so do not stall.
