If you are very young then you must detach from this person right now. I am not just giving you a lay person's naive advice. I am serious, & I know what I am talking about. Meth is a very very bad drug to be involved with, & you could be doing yourself unnecessary harm by being involved with a person who chooses to do this drug.
When trying to help a person who is an addict we do all sorts of things that we think is helpfull, but in reality it just makes their situation worse.
The only thing that you can do that really helps is to suggest to him that he gets himself into rehab, & then you have to stand back. Do not give him money, no matter how much he asks, or how much sense it makes to you at the time, do not give him money. Do not drive him places, unless it's to rehab, the only other places he will have you drive him is to a place where he can get his drugs, & that won't help him at all. Do not let him sleep in your house, even if he promises to not do drugs around you, if he isn't in treatment, then he will be lying to you, & having drugs & the stuff that goes with it in your home will only harm you & the people that live with you.

If he truly asks you for help with his drug problem, the only healthy thing you can do for him is to get him to a drug councellor, or to a rehab clinic.

Direct him to where the professionals are so he can get the help that he needs to kick his drug habit. If he wants to kick his drug habit, then he needs to make the first step. Other than that, stay away from him, or he could end up using you and stealing from you to support his drug habit.

first decide what kind of help this person needs by finding out what the problem is exactly. is it that they are out and need more? they need money to buy more? they need to find more to buy or need a good reliable source? or what? drug problems hmmm.........
