I've tried several formula brands. When my son was younger (1-2 months) we used Enfamil AR Lipil. He was a premmie and experienced acid relux. As he got older we changed to Nestle Good Start with Comfort Proteins. He is now 6 months old and regularly uses Costco Brand formula without any problems. We thought we'd give it a try considering it is comparable to Enfamil and Similac while being affordable. You can get 2 cans for about $20!

I still nurse my 10 month old but have been supplementing since he was 6 months old. (I work part time) I started using enfamil with lipils. Then a lot of people told me that the wal mart and target brands are the exact same thing but half the money. It's true. You can look right on the back and ingredient for ingreidient they are the same. So if you don't care about labels- I would opt for the cheaper ones!

I use Enfamil Lipil w/ iron. I nursed for a while and then switched to formula. This was the brand that had sent me lots of free samples so I tried it and my son seem to like it! You can sign up at their website and they will probably send you some! I still get coupons every now and then.

I breastfeed mostly but sometimes have to supplement my 10 month old. I only use Parent's Choice ORGANIC Baby Formula for the following reasons:

1) No corn syrup solids in the formula (these can lead to obesity)
2) No hormones or antibodics added to the cow's milk (The less crap the better, a baby doesn't need that to GROW on.)
3) Contains DHA and ARA, which are found in breastmilk (for brain development)
4) It seems to be gentle enough for my baby and she tolerates it, no gas or spit up!

Hello,

Well, my twin daughters were born @32 weeks. They were preemies. So, the NICU fed them Neosure by Similac. When our twins came home, we continued feeding them Neosure, which is $13.99 a container.

At 9 months, they were finally able to get off that formula and we started feeding them Enfamil with DHA/ARA. Now, until they turn one years old in a couple of weeks, we are feeding them Enfamil Next Step Lipil.

But, our doctor suggested we transition our twins to the new formula by adding 2 scoops of Neosure, unitl it was gone, to 2 or 4 scoops of the new formula. It worked.

Hope this helps you.....:-)

I use parent's choice with dha and ara. I've tried every major brand and the one my son spits up on the least is the parent's choice. Second to that is the Nestle Good Start--it's a great brand but smells like yeast for some reason.

My daughter grew to become into on goodstart yet he breath smelled like rubbish and additionally you in simple terms get 3/4 of the can. So for my son we went with the kirkland form (costco formula) Its 25$ and additionally you get double what you're able to get with good start up.

I use Enfamil Lipil. Only because it is what the hospital was feeding him, and he did just fine. I didn't want to change him and mess things up when we were out.
