I need to make some good money, just like most of us, but I just got out of high school so I don't really have a good resume or anything like that.

This question is always ask by someone just getting out of school or just starting in the work force. There is no way to start a job and make good money right away. The way you need to look at it is like this. You find a job that is interesting to you on the ground level and work really hard at it and you will climb the latter quickly. Anything you want to do in life takes time. I know that is not the answer you are looking for but believe me. I am 46 years old and had to do it that way also. There is a saying that people want it all and want it now. But that is only a saying. What you need to make good money is time and effort. I hope this helps a little. And good luck on your journey. I am sure you will do great...............

Join the military. You'll have no expenses except for a car and insurance on it. You'll get life and health insurance and you get an allowance for your meals. In addition, you get paid to go to college with the GI Bill, so you can get a degree that will help you when you get out. I am happy that I joined the military 12 years ago. I am in the Air Force Reserve now and have an AWESOME civilian job. Good luck in whatever you decide to do.

Look for weird undesirable positions, they pay more. Working in a freezer packaging goods; working graveyard shift anywhere; doing construction, plumbing, or sewage work; garbage man; or apprentice as a welder, pipefitter, electrician, etc. You could always go into some sort of sales as well.

"a job that pays well".

Try Wicks Furniture or larger companies...they tend to have more money to train. Smaller compies wont waste time on younger people because they make a smaller profit and time is money so they won't waste it on training a newbie that won't stick around.
