Graham Norton was fantastic on Channel 4, he had a free reign to do what he wanted, his show So Graham Norton was brilliant. However I think his move to the BBC has stifled his work and he is not able to be himself.

Personally, yes. So Graham Norton was staple viewing on a Friday night after Friends, and the special shows he did like Ah-So Graham Norton (in Japan), Si Graham Norton (Mexico), and Graham Goes to Dollywood (with Dolly Parton) were great, too. I rarely ever watch him on BBC1 now, although I'm sure this has a lot to do with the fact that I do not care for musical reality shows and ballroom dancing. I've caught an episode or two of The Bigger Picture and that's OK, but nothing like his C4 shows. Plus, what happened to Betty??!!

He should have most definatly stayed with channel 4 but I suppose it is the way of the world money talks. When he did the Maria thing he was out of his depth in a way as he so wanted to be really naughtry but could not.
His evening show is a little bit more like the old Graham but once again restricted.

I like him. I think it was the way Keisha heard it tonight - i really don't think it was Graham Norton's fault she heard it wrong. I think she was worried about being in the bottom 2 again and got a bit ahead of herself... I agree with Paul, we just think first name out is gonna be safe. The presenter is doing what he's told anyway - so i say give the guy a break, he's still funny. That's what i saw anyway for what it's worth Bex : )

Yeah. I used to love So Graham Norton but I haven't watched anything he's been on since he moved to the Beeb.

There is definitely truth in what you say, he's not as funny or as risqué as he used to be.

The problem was, when he was on channel 4, he was doing a show every night (in the end) and he started looking so tired and run down and then couldn't keep up! I think they ruined a good thing and should have given him more of a break.

I used to love him on C4. With the BBC he is doing dull shows about dancing and we don't get the wit and charisma we did from C4. Go back, Graham, go back!

Yes. The BBC are too controlling.
But then on the other hand, 5nites a week. on channel 4....too much Graham.
Overkilled his career.
