just keep trying and maybe purchase a book about conception. Also...the more sex the better your chances. Your husband probably wont leave you if you cant get pregnant. There are so many medical and social options now. Good luck to both of you and God Bless you both! Remember...he know the number of hairs on your head...if he knows that dont you think he knows when and if you will become pregnant! Trust in Him completely and he will give you the desires of your heart!

A normal doctor can diagose infertility without going to a specialist. If you can't go to a doctor, there are several things you can do to help track you r ovulation. (since its not the same for everyone)
1) You can do Basel Body Temperature Charting- this helps predict you LH surge which is your best time to conceive
2) You can buy home ovulation kits. You should start these in the morning on cycle day 5 and continue until you test positive. If you test postive, the next 2 days are your most fertile. If you don't test postitive and start your cycle then you didn't ovualte. If this happens, don't give up, just try again next month.
After 3 cycles of tracking your ovulation (where you ovulate) if you don't conceive, I would go to a doctor and have your husband checked.
If you do not ovulate in 3 cycles, then you should go and get checked.

You guys are young and have a lot of time to start a family. Don't freak out, enjoy "trying"!
Good Luck!

This is my standard answer......... go get a book called Taking Charge of your fertility by Toni Weschler
This book will help you with all of your menstrual and conception questions. It’s for all women - not just women trying to conceive. It covers everything from temperature to mucus checking, etc.. It will help you understand your body and all the myths about it. It will help you time when you are ovulating and the best times to conceive – or not! It tells you how to figure out your cycle and what to expect. My husband and I tried for a year to conceive and nothing happened. The first month I used the book we conceived right away. Now I am due Feb 2. It's about knowing your body and knowing when you are fertile or not. You can pick and choose what you do with your info. Good luck and don't listen the all the myths!

You do need to go to the doc
but before you do
what have you been doing
have you check to see if you are ovulating
1- this month after your p have sex every day or other day until your next p
2- go to babyhope.com
or fetility.com for info about charting
once you try all of this then if you still having difficulty make an apointment with a OBGYN
Good Luck

To find out you need to go to a doctor for testing.

On a bright side I found this link. (attached above)
It is a test that you can buy that can test the concentration of a mans ejaculate. I thought that was kind of helpful.

I wouldn't worry too much. He is right, you could always adopt.

If worse comes to worse and both of you are infertile which I HIGHLY doubt there are many options from surrogates if it is a problem with your uterus to you getting invitro!

A family is defined by love, not by blood.
