No way! No one else could do it as far as I'm concerned! He rocks!! I think as long as the script writers took into consideration that Harrison Ford is older so Indiana Jones should be too then it will be just fine. He seems to be in great shape as far as I can tell so why shouldn't he do it? Besides, like I said, no one else could do it as well as he can!

Harrison Ford is Indiana Jones... so he can never be too young or too old to play him. Can Harrison Ford do the necessary stunts like the old films? Now that is questionable. Though Harrison just made a few comments a few weeks ago and told everyone he still is in great shape. I agree with him too. He looks pretty good for someone as old as he is.
Though it really depends on the story of the fourth film. There are countless ways to get around the heavy action and still for it to be a great film... but I am sure there will be plenty of action. I am also sure Harrison would love to do all of his own stunts and will try very hard to do the best he can do in every one of them too.
I think he will do great for the next Indiana Jones film, even if it does take 10 more years.

If something works, don't fix it! To have someone else play Indy would be as bad as having someone else play Harry Potter. I imagine the script will reflect the age factor. True Indiana Jones fans will look past the ageing part and enjoy it as much as I will. However, I agree that an older Indiana Jones may not be appealing to all.

I was wondering this very thing when I saw the news yesterday that another Indy film is in the works. The man is 65 years old; and by the time the actual filming gets under way, he'd be 66 or 67 (the script isn't even written yet. And we have to remember, these things take years to prepare).
My suspicion is that he'll have a younger protoge in this movie(maybe a long lost son he didn't know he had) who'll be doing most of the physical stunts. And Ford will be there to provide the magic that only HE can provide, but in a less physical way. (Very much like Sean Connery did in the last film.)
Nice, timely question.

Well, I've not been a huge Harrison Ford fan since he took up with Calista Flockhart and seemed to lose his mind. (he made some really bad film choices), but I have faith that he'll be able to pull of another Indiana Jones. No other actor should ever play that. Mostly I have faith in the director to pull a good performance out of him.

Well, he's getting right up there in years, but Harrison Ford can do anything-no matter how old he is. I think he will do great. He IS Indiana Jones-always has-always will be-no one can replace him....he will just have to take it easy filming the movie, but he's in good shape for his age.

He is Indiana Jones....so if Harrison Ford is 60 then so is Indiana Jones. I can't see anyone else being that character.

No, I think it might be cute. Kind of like "Last Crusade." After all, they portrayed a young Indiana Jones, and his father, the immortal Sean Connery.
Indy Jones as a geezer might be appealing!

I don't know. It would be great to see him as Indiana Jones one last time, though.

That's a toughie.......I can't imagine anyone else playing Indy, but, yeah...he is getting a bit long in the tooth. Geez....way back when "What Lies Beneath" came out, he already had "moobs". Maybe if he keeps his shirt on, all will be OK.
