It was ominous that Bush stated that the goal doesn't change just the strategy. Fact is they never had a strategy. The goal of oil theft and bases in Iraq however doesn't change. More deaths on the way then.

Hopefully establish a stable democratic government in Iraq, just like we did for Italy,Germany, Japan.South Korea....but only time will tell.
