The first one.....None of the sequals can compare. Just a classic "ghost" story....Loved it. Have been scared of clowns ever since.

The first is the best, its classic (like most sequels) I also liked the second because of the mirrored halls in the hotel, I thought that was great. The third I dont remember, I know the real life 'Carol Anne' died during the second movie.
