As long as they keep a healthy supply of pine tar in their locker room, they've got a good shot.

Seriously, though, it's impossible to say - it's now down to a best-of-five, which means that chance is going to play a big part in deciding who wins the series.

Both teams are evenly balance and neither team played really strong before the playoffs, but they have both turned it on for the playoffs. I think the only real difference is the stress level. The tigers are supposed to be horrible they have nothing to loose. The cards on the other hand are supposed to have won one by now and the window of oppurttunity is closing fast. So that being said I think as the series winds on the cards will start to feel the pressure more and make some untimely mistakes which will be the difference in the series.
Tigers in 6 or 7

To be honest i think this is something that has alot. I mean the players are good. On both sides. I think the same thing is going to happen, to the Tigers. Just like Mets. Same story. Im not a big fan of the Cardinals. I really hate them, But we will have to watch the games to find out.

GO!! TIGERS!!

No, they won't. Don't be too surprised when the Series moves back to St. Louis and the crowd is so insanely loud that the players will not even be able to hear themselves talk, or think. St. Louis is a baseball city. The crowd is the ultimate extra man on the field. And the Cardinals thrive on that situation.

I think the Cards will pull through this series in fine form.

Go Cardinals!

The Tigers are certainly keeping us on the edge of our seats... some controversy, more errors than before, ninth inning scares, and too many people left on base. I like both teams- good cities not snobbish (like NY) but I live in Detroit so GO TIGERS... Tigers have great pitching and have not used Big Z yet so it will be fun to watch.

Tigers in 6 where Detroit can celebrate at home!

Even though they made me REAL nervous in the ninth, I think the Tigers can win the World Series. They need to get some more of those runs in, though!

GO TIGERS!

i do no longer know who's going to provide up them. they're on hearth, and it extremely is burning as amazing now because it grew to become into in June. jointly because it could be secure at this factor to project a Tigers/Mets sequence, the Mets weren't magnificent in interleague this twelve months, so as that they won't additionally be waiting to provide up the Tigers. As for the 1st answer; i think of the Braves are having a complicated time combating Florida & the Phillies, i do no longer see them beating the Tigers.

I think it's going to be a better series than everyone thought. The Cardinals are healthy, the series is even so far, and their best two pitchers haven't even thrown yet.
