4 is a good age for remote control cars. It teaches them motor skills. Also it is a good age for cars that the sit in and drive (toy ones of course).

fischer-price makes one that is great and easy to use, but if you get her one be sure you get several sets of batteries for her as they use up lots of batteries.

but you might want to look into some other toys too, like some old standbys that are coming back into style.....block (of any type but legos and wooden ones are best), dolls, skates (always a great favorite with my family) and they come in lots of cool styles. and dont forget some of the things like books, magazines and art supplies all went over well with my own children and all the cousins, and nephews and nieces too.

Is this one she rides in or hand controls? Hand control probably not a good idea, she will get bored. If its one she rides in, make sure that there is a top speed of like 2 miles an hour or she'll take off in it and no one will be ablr to catch her. Voice of experience!!!!

I got mine when I was 2 but have someone with her she may get her fingers or hair stuck in the wheels and trust me that hurts.

I think it would be a great idea as long as she is being supervised while using it due to some small parts.
