Husband cheated on me with a guy and now thinks he's gay...
He is willing to do counseling but will it work or should we get divorced??

There are a lot of information needed to consider your question as how long you are married, how old are you, if you have children, but lets try.
First. It does not matter if was a woman or a man: he cheated! I do not think cheat (once) is a good reason for divorce. Everybody cheats even by thinking! So your major problem is to stablish a confident relation to finish the need of cheating. Good time to think about sexual experiences with other partners. For both of you!
Second. Maybe he is not gay but bi-sexual! There are lots of people - men and women - who like both sex. If is your case you should consider a "lifestyles" behavior with your husband (try to learn and read about, you are not alone!). In this case you must thnk about your interest or fantasy (or the building of it) about it!
Try to not be shy or puritan. We are in the XXI century!!!
Third. If he is gay or if you can not accept an alternative sex life with him than is better to divorce.
But remember, if he is willing to do counseling is because he still likes and wants you. Make your marriage general balance before decide!!!

I would go to a doctor first to make sure neither of you has any STD's.
Secondly, the fact that he's willing to go to counseling says a lot about him. This is a very difficult time for you both, but he is willing to work it out. You should go; either it will work out and you find ways to communicate better and make your marriage stronger, or you understand why it happened and find a way to move on without him.
Marriage is hard work, but has many rewards. Things happen in life that test us, but our attitude is such that things and people are disposable or inconvenient when it gets tough. Don't be so quick to run to a lawyer, go to counseling.

Do you want to get divorced from that fudgy packer?? I certainly would not want to stay with him if I was you,, but only you can answer that question.
I find that counceling is just a way for someone to make money off people, if you are not willing to communciate yourselves, dont bother

Men who hae sex with men are at very high risk for STDs and HIV/AIDS. It is not woth the risk. I know this must be a hard time for you. You are in my prayers. Good luck.

cheating is cheating. exhaust all avenues to save your marriage. if things do not work out, move on. if they do work out, more power to you.
