Well, for most of the game, Texas did dominate them, as they couldn't run the ball at all. Texas did miss out on 7 points(2 missed FG's, and a blocked PAT) so really, it was either team's game. Very unfortunate that the fumble occured at the end of the game giving Texas the ball back and a short field. Until this happened, everything was in Nebraska's favor, even the weather, as Texas had to drive into a gusting, snow-swirling, 20-30 mph wind. Would've been a huge win for Nebraska, and as Mack Brown said, "We'll see you again at the Big XII Championship game in Kansas City."

nicely, Texas performed very poorly. They quite exceeded this element over on a silver platter to Nebraska. Their first 7 Drives have been 5 punts and 2 interceptions. How he slipped on the a million backyard line. Texas performed poorly and Nebraska became taking benefit of it. Then, Nebraska desperate to grant it returned. i think of the two communities performed poorly, and Texas in simple terms outlasted them.

Don't look any further than the coaching. Just run the ball into the line, especially with the rule changes that start the clock after a change of posession. They would have run down the clock or forced Texas to use more of its time outs. This would have probably forced the Longhorns into a harder field goal which may have made a huge difference.

Yes, they deserved to lose.
If you make a turnover during a crucial period of a tight game, then you deserve to lose. Texas came up with a big play when needed, which is what good teams do.

Yes, they played well enough to win. They just didn't take care of the ball late. Several teams came very close to being upset this weekend, only to pull Houdini-style escapes.

It matters not who "deserves" what; it matters who scores the most via offense, defense and special teams in 60 minutes. Therefore, regardless of the amount of total offense/yards, Texas deserved to win.

They played well enought for 58 minutes, but champions will hold on to the ball. It may be that Texas is just that good.

Do you think we really care what you think? All that really matters is the final score.
