She seems to be obsessed of having the last word type thing. She won't come to me and if I go to her she makes a big deal of it. How do I act?

Totally ignore her. That is the one thing you can do that does not make you look bad. It makes you the bigger person, because you are not playing along with her games.

This person sounds very immature I would confront her and if she freaks out and is an a** about it then i wouldn't waste any time on her i would ignore it. If she is like this at a place of work I would hope that other co workers are ignoring what she has to say. most adults understand and know that work is not high school! If you show her no more attention she will eventually have nothing to say about you anymore.

Obviously she is a coward!!! I wouldn't worry about her or anything that she has to say, about you or anything else. It seems all she does is spit venom on folks and no one likes that. Around everyone that you work with, if not already, start being extremely nice and helpful to her even if you don't want to. That makes everyone else realize who is s#*^ talking and who is THE REAL DEAL. Privately just you and her, that's when you let her have it. Straight up, She'll stop!!!

ignore her and only speak about office matters when necessary. She will get the message. Be diplomatic. If she talks about you behind your back just wait for boomerang! Someone will do the same to her. Thinking about her will only make you more upset. Treat her like a fly. Focus on your work and socialise with other colleagues. Do you get angry when mosquito bites you?

The best thing to do is to ignore her. People can't stand to be ignored, but it will get the point across without saying anything. You can be civil like hello or goodbye but nothing else. Don't play the game with her.

well i dont know what other people would do, but i am the type of person who would just smile at her all the time, wave at her, invite her to have lunch with me, kill her with kindness it will just make her head explode. the worst thing you could ever do is let her know that she is getting to you because then that means that she is winning.

i hope this helps

Befriend as many other co-workers as you can to make sure they know what she says about you is all hooey. Once she sees she is wrong by her actions and losing friends by alienating them she'll stop

Tape the handset to the phone and constantly call her. Then tell her when she stops driving you crazy you'll do the same.
