To me being a christian is having a relationship with Jesus Christ. It means to share, care and let other's be aware of the hope that you have. Not keep it inside you and hide it from other's.

To me being a christian is about forgiveness, and to not being judgemental towards other's but loving toward's other's. To love as God loves and not to hate as the world does toward's other's.

This is what I define Christianity to mean to me.

Dear WeLaugh2gether,

I believe that being Christian means that a person has accepted Jesus Christ as their LORD and Savior. Christians believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross and rose again from the dead on the Third Day.

Christian does not mean "nice" person because all people are nice in one way or another.

There are many people who attend churches that are not Christian at all.

Christians believe that Jesus Christ will return as King of Kings and LORD of Lords and take His own to be with Him for eternity.

Have you accepted Jesus Christ as your LORD and Savior?
Do you read the Bible?
Reading the Bible and then accepting Jesus Christ as my LORD are the BEST things I've ever done in my life and life just keeps getting better.

Thank you for your question.

Christianity is not a religion it is a relationship. Actual Christianity is having faith that Jesus Christ was the Son of God, came to earth, died on a cross for our sins, rose again on the third day, and accept His sacrifice. By believing this you will be given eternal life; so that after you die you will not spend eternity in hell, but will go to Heaven and spend eternity with God. I know that so far it sounds like a religion, but the way that it is a relationship is that once you accept Jesus' sacrifice and let Him take control of your life you will want to live for Him and you will have a relationship with Him.

To believe that Jesus the Christ came to earth as the son of God. That he died and was resurrected for the purpose of allowing us to have our sins (faults) forgiven so that we can have a relationship with God who has created us. Being in this relationship allows us to grow and become more and more Christ-like wich is the defition of being a christian. Because some people don't understand this relational part they follow "Christianity" without ever experiecing the joys that comes from being truly a christian and having their lives changed.

Christianity is more of a belief than a religion.

As a christian you recognize Jesus Christ as the center of your faith. You follow his teachings and carry out his righteous ways.

It takes a strong unusual faith to live up to the standards of Jesus Christ. And this is rare.
