In other words would you prefer to be rich and famous or rich and anonymous?

I wouldn't like everyone knowing my business or caring about every little move I make. I like coming and going without so much as a second glance from people.

If it turned me into a selfish, attention seeking tosser who spends £5,000 on a Gucci handbag every month, and made me disappear up my own ****, then I'd say no.
The money is always welcome, but as you said, thats not the question. and some of these idiots have more money than they know what to do with.
I would only want to be famous if by being famous I could do some good, either for my family and loved ones or for the country as a whole.

I prefer my anonymity. I would find it very annoying to be constantly approached by strangers who want something from me. Without the riches that often go hand in hand with celebrity there would be little point in being famous.

I love my life too much to be exposed 24/7 to the world
I like being anonymous (its getting a bit difficult now with a government that wants to know everything about you)
In my opinion celebrities don't have a live. The hatred, criticism, prying, lies, drugs jeez just to much to mention)

imagine u have to wear sunglasses whenever you go out or else people stare at you
imagine u have to be extra careful with wateva you say and your behaviour
imagine u have to fake up a smile even you are not happy
BUT
imagine everyone admiring you and strangers greeting you by the street
imagine you yourself knowing that your life is worth it coz you have inspired someone out there
imagine yourself being able to express your talents
i guess there is always 2 sides to a coin. if i am rich enough, i wouldn't mind being a celebrity =)

I'd rather be rich and anonymous- then I get to screw with people...like bad customer service reps at retail stores! Just cause I'm in jeans and T doesn't mean I can't afford to buy your over-priced clothes!

No way. I would hate all that schmoozing. Can think of nothing worse than parading yourself in front of the cameras.If I had the money and could be anonymous that would do me just fine!
