True, uranium stocks have increased quite a bit over the past few years, but this "play" is more of a longer term trade. This year CCJ has been sideways almost all year (between 35 and 40, briefly twice to 45).

For the shorter term, CCJ is probably not your best trade.

But if it's CCJ or nothing, it is in a nice little uptrend right now.

So if you're disciplined enough to get out if/when it turns down, then it might be ok getting in around 35/36ish and possibly selling around 40/42ish if it can't get higher.

Your choice entirely. For myself, there's soo many other stocks that I'm salivating over for the next 90 days. AAPL, SHLD, KSS, MS are a few that come to mind.

No. A good time to buy uranium (and all other energy-related) stocks was in 2000-01.
