I'd be deaf, because well....my little sister is deaf and she never really sees it as a hinderance. She can still do things just like anyone else, whereas say, a blind person would have more difficulty, because so many things in our society rely on sight. There's not many things that rely on sound, and those that do, aren't really essential. For example, a deaf person can still drive, whereas a blind person cannot, because traffic lights are visual, not auditory. Granted, a deaf person cannot hear the television or radio, but televisions come with the ability to have closed captioning. There's also the phone issue, but to be honest, I don't really like talking on the phone anyway, I prefer to conduct my buisiness in person. (plus they also have TTY telephone machines for the deaf).
Also, on a deeper level, if you were blind, you would have to rely on your hearing and feeling. It would almost be impossible to tune out the things you heard around you, and I know there's things in this life that I'd rather NOT hear. Whereas, like my mom used to say, if you're deaf you can take the attitude of "If you don't like how it looks, you don't have to look at it".
As far as being mute, that just doesn't fly well with me. I'm opinionated and have a lot to say. I would be highly upset if I was silenced. To others, this would probably be a blessing though, but I've spent too much time and money on my education to not be able to share it.

Any of these disabilities is enough to make your life miserable. however among these 3, i would choose Mute. obviously, blindness brings all other disabilities, you cant do anything without a support. learning a language is by listening, if you are a deaf you can't hear and hence automatically become mute also, so why not only MUTE?

I hope nothing. But anyways if something was compulsory then I'd go for Mute as I can always express my opinions on paper whereas being blind doesn't let you see the beauty of the world and deafness leads to complete disorder as we can't hear to music or the birds chirp.
Am I being philosophical?

being blind would be the toughest.

being deaf can put you at risk in too many situations.

being mute, you can still alert others using some alarms and avoid risk.

tough one, but i have to go with "mute"

I agree with "sarcastic..." - I would choose mute because I'm better at writing than talking anyway. I wouldn't want to lose one of the five senses. To me that would be much more serious.

Mute.
I can write down what I want to say and wont have to rely on others to much. When you are deaf or blind you rely more on others, ie a guide dog to walk you or someone to listen out for you.

Mute, as (a) I don't like talking to people anyway, and (b) if I did have anything to say I could write it down.

I would have to choose deaf. I have to be able to see and I think I would go crazy if I could not talk. That leaves deaf.

Tough one, But why such a question. We do not choose to be Blind, Deaf or Dumb.
Know this when you are deaf you are actually dumb. These are important human assets. I cant choose any I am sorry my dear.
