Fantastic getaway / camping along the Kwazulu Natal coastline... ? Any & all ideas would be much appreciated! Wanting somewhere tranquil, yet not too far off the beaten track... Just wanting to take my 5yr old lil' man away from the norm for a long weekend. Thanks in advance for your suggestions@

Scottburgh. (Kwazulu South Coast, halfway between Durban and Margate)
It's go a caravan park right next to the main beach.
The beach has a lagoon that flows into the sea, so there are loads of shallow spots for him to paddle in. There is also a little train that runs from the main beach to the end of the caravan park for little kids.
Scottburgh is about 30 Min's from Durban on the highway, but is nice and quiet. So you can take the family to go to Shaka Marine world to see the Dolphins and be back after lunch for a play on the beach before cooking dinner.

My all time favourite is still St Lucia. If that is to far North for you, Mtunzini has some very nice places.
