well the redskins cant play 3rd quarter ball and they are a schitzophrenic footballl team you never know who will show up do you think its more the coaches or players

the coaches and players are the team, without one, you don't have the other. If they don't function as a whole, than you don't have a working engine, but one that spits and sputters and occasionally gets you where you want to go, but that would take you to the ends of the earth if finely tuned, all components interacting and balanced and given the fuel to succeed. It's obvious that they need to be taken into the shop for a lube job, balancing, and complete overhaul,and replace what doesn't work, with new parts, or if too many of the parts are weak, get a new motor(the players) and chasis ( the coaches). Sometimes a rebuilt engine will hold only so long, and it's time to get a whole new vehicle. Only they as a team can analyze the problem and make the proper changes. If it ain't broke don't fix it, but if it is, replace it.

i think the problems go up higher than the coaches and the players - like into the front office and ownership

I agree with Adam. I also think the decision to keep Brunell in is a bad one.
