I don't see how this trade would help the person getting Parker......

If you're talking about trading tony parker for kobe bryant than it's a good trade. Parker puts up good number once in a while, but Kobe has the ball in his hands all the time. He'll put up 35 points and give you 6 assists, 6 rebounds, and 2 steals. Kobe, Kobe, Kobe.

No. Both for the Lakers AND Spurs. The Lakers giving Kobe for Tony is like picking Atlanta over Miami in the Eastern Conference Finals. The Spurs would not be a good fit for Kobe because he needs the ball and Tim, Bruce, Manu, and others players wouldnt like that. It would be another Shaq/Kobe Soap opera but it would be Tim/Kobe!!! O!!! Yes good trade if your in fantasy. Kobe WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY better than Tony Parker.

Never. Kobe is too valuble to LA, and Parker to San An. Without Kobe, the Lakers wouldn't have a leader or a go to scorer. Without Parker, San An would lose it's future (Duncan is getting old) and it would lack a PG to lead the offense.

I think Tony Parker is probably a hell of a lot easier to coach, and to play with. He doesn't appear to be half as cocky or selfish as Kobe. But his assist record is suspect for his position, and his turnover rate is alarmingly high. Kobe, for all his personality flaws, is one hell of a player - much better than Tony Parker. Trading Kobe for anyone, unless a team has tried absolutlely everything else or found a better player (which is pretty much impossible) would be a bad idea.

For the Lakers it would be a good trade because then they would have a playmaker who could make Lamar Odom play like he was before he was a laker. For the spurs it would be a bad one because they wouldn't have a point guard. Besides San Antonio already has a great shooting guard, Mano Ginobli. But if Kobe did go to San Antonio, then he would drive Tim Duncan out of San Antonio just like he did with Shaq in L.A. Anyway San Antonio in my opinion has all the pices of the puzzle, so why trade parker and risk everything with Kobe.

It is a very good trade if you are the team getting Kobe.

Kobe will be a hall of famer.

Parker? Not sure.. but he is still young.

This is coming from a Spurs fan. You see, I speak the truth.

Tony Parker is a ultimate participant. he's a 2-time all-celebrity and NBA finals MVP. This season he averaged 18.8 factors and six assists on 40 9.4% shooting. he's clearly between the ten maximum suitable factor guards in the NBA while opposition on the PG place is stacked. That being pronounced, your cousin is ridiculously in love with the Spurs if he thinks Parker is greater suitable than Kobe.

Maybe in the "who has the hottest wife/girlfriend" competition, I would want Tony Parker...otherwise, for basketball, Kobe.

No way. Kobe is way better than Parker. If anything they should some how get Tim Duncan onto the Lakers.
