I've read so many things on websites, I want to hear from ppl that have hamsters please. What not to feed them and Your hamsters favorite food... thanks!

is it syrian or dwarf---that mattrers---if dwarf avoid fruit and sweetened treats as they r prone to diabetes.

Potatoes (Raw)
Raw Kidney Beans
Eggplant
Fool's Parsley
Grape Seeds
Avocado (Contains Cardiac Glycosides)

Oranges or Tangerines(no citrus fruits of any kind)
watermelon & iceberg lettuce(the water content is high & can cause diarrhea)

my hamms love broccoli, carrot, pear, & apple. they r syrian so they can have fruit---but not daily.

People food like bread, cookies, cake, etc. My hamster's favorite was sunflowers seeds.

Do NOT feed them chocolate......their heart would explode. Mine liked to eat my sisters hamster.....

this may sound gross but hamsters love to eat catapillars, moths, and other larvae.
