Yes, you need proof. If she calls your home phone or cell phone record the messages and save them. If she comes to your home and threatens you in any way call the police and get a restraining order against her. Just remember, she is the mother of your b/f baby which means that she will be part of his life for at least the next 18 yrs. The best thing you could do for the baby would be for all of you to come to a decision to get along for the good of the child. Has anyone thought about the child in all of this?

If you can get proof, it will work in your favor, tape her verbally abusing you. Stay out of her way, don't go any where near her. Now if she comes around you, go to the police, get a report, then you will have some proof of her harassment, then go and get a restraining order against her. Remember if you stay with your boyfriend, you are going to have to be dealing with this woman of 18 years. is it worth it? and what does your boyfriend say to her?

How is all this happening? Is she showing up at your home, your job, etc? If so, get a protective order because if she is actively seeking you out, that is a sign of danger and should be taken seriously.

If you are just running into her at the store, etc ... change your routine. Go to places that she doesn't frequent.

The "verbal abuse" thing is free speech. You have the power to hang up the phone or walk away. You have the power to not respond when she speaks to you. You aren't her little victim. Responding to her just throws fuel on the fire. Learn how to walk away with your mouth shut. Do not humor her with any of your attention or time. Pretend she does not exist.

Ask for a restraining order.

You love someone who cheated on you and has another child? What is wrong with you?
