where can i buy an evening gown in paris?

I've tried printemps and galleries lafayette - i need a shop that just sells evening gowns so I can look at a bunch - or at least one that has a section of evening gowns like they do in the us - and metro accessible? Any ideas??

Look at La Samaritaine, at 19 Rue de la Monnaie, 1st Arrondissement.
Métro stop: Pont Neuf.

If not, try Au Bon Marche or Les Halles.
