I'm just me. I dress as I please. I don't seek approval, or disapproval, from anyone but myself. I can't go out of the house without my hair looking decent, and preferably with make-up on. Except when I just don't care (about the make-up, not the hair. Can't go anywhere with bad hair).

I was a goth in the 90s at school. The only one in a sea of little surfies. That was fun until I got bored. You know, you can never be different or unique if you try to emulate an image? It's like that episode of South Park when Stan turned goth.

BTW can you enlighten me a little about outcast, and back looks? I know of the rest. Never too old to learn.

Old enough to be your mother crowd!

When I was a kid we had different sterotypes for the high school crowd. I was "none of the above" and hung with kids who like me, didn't fit in with any clique.

It's best to be a "none of the above" - that way you can have friends in every clique except perhaps the hardcore druggies and gang banger hip hop types.

As long as your friends are clean and sober, refrain from delinquent activities - including gangs it really doesn't matter which crowd you're with.

I start off as a child, entitled tomboy. Then advanced to a being, reluctantly, a girl. Somehow, from there formed into an active loner. Now I reside as a, atypical-somewhat-definitive, gothic individual.

Essentially, I'm a bit eccentric.
