Because the water from the hose is cold.... I wouldn't get mad, I would play along and squirt them too.

They come there to display themselves, not to work out, so they don't understand the working up a sweat thing. Plus, they don't like looking at a guy if they look good but are so covered in sweat that they wouldn't want to touch them. It kills the fantasy if they can't imagine touching him when they are drooling over his body. Oh, and that saying Jenny mentions goes "Horses sweat, men perspire and women glow". It's made to have the act sound more pleasant as it goes down the line. The "women glow" part is because the light is supposed to shine off of the moisture (perspiration) built up on their skin, while ignoring the part about the moisture being there at all. That way it makes it seem like they don't do anything so unseemly as to perspire.

Well it could depend on a lot of things. Is it cold outside or is the water cold? Did she just get done fixing herself up for you? Does it take her a while to do her hair? Alot of women are self-conscious about the way they look. And unless their fat, they get cold easily.
