What other shocking or funny but safe items have you gotten or thought of passing out over the years. NO pet food and no drug items, please. It's not funny.

A dentist I used to know gave out toothbrushes & toothpaste. :) Soap would be cool, or other hygiene products children use. I knew one lady back in the day who gave out black & orange socks.
I can't think of any really good safe trick items other than maybe novelty toys like rubber spiders or snakes. :)

A bit strange, as well as upsetting for little kids. I thought the asker was supposed to dish out the trick if they got a poor response from the house they were calling at. We make it simple in England and just give money to the kids who call,always have done.
