Ok asked this once. Gonna rephrase it. When I was a child of 13ish (do not remember the exact age). I fooled around played doctor with a girl 9ish. It was over 20 years ago. (only once) She is bringing it up today because of alot of sexual abuse I understood she recieved as a child. Can she proscute? I understand because of the age diff it might have been a crime in Ark. Can she still proscute? Sorry for asking it again. This whole thing has caused an uproar in my family. thanks.

I think there is a statute of limitations if she wanted to prosecute she should have done it years ago.. I think you should be safe plus you weren't over the age of 18 yourself. It would be hard to prosecute you. What evidence could possible be left after 20 years? Right now it is just your word against hers. I wouldn't worry about it. They probably couldn't do anything about then and they can't do anything about it now. I wouldn't worry about it. Good luck.

Yes, it would be a crime in Arkansas, but the question is what state did this take place in? The other issue is that if you were only 13, you would have been an under-aged minor yourself, according to the laws of many states. So you need to find out your exact age, if this ever goes to court.

You might think about a legal consult to assess your options. If she takes this further legally, you might be able to file a countersuit, particularly if she's been the source of the uproar in your family. Perhaps this could lead to having the whole thing dropped.

Don't you all have Lifetime Movie Network in Arkansas? Hell yeah you can prosecute! The state doesn't care how long ago it was as long as you have some kind of proof honey you could lock up the Pope if he did a crime. Remember that no one is above the law!

Yous were playing a game...both under age..seems like it was just innocense at those ages...If she's had sexual abuse issues
I doubt it was ever caused by you. I wouldn't worry-Really..this happened 20 some odd yrs. ago....she needs to get over it & find the real sources to her underlying problems.
