It is just as (in)credible as the idea that intelligence evolved over millions of years - for which there is no evidence.

Man's intelligence came from hundreds of millions of years of evolution, with natural selection allowing more intelligent members of species to reproduce more, fostering progressively greater intelligence in various species, until human intelligence was achieved. The metorite or lightning strike are merely theories of how the very first, most primitive life form may have come into being.

And, if you are seeking a Biblical interpretation of this suggestion, who is to say that God breathing the essence of life and intelligence into humanity did not take the form of a space rock or a bolt of lightning?

Man's intelligence is the product of billions of years of evolution, starting from the simplest of nervous systems in Sea sponges to that of animals, mammals, hominids, than man. No specific event can spontaneously create intelligence, neither a meteor, nor a lightning strike.

Apparently its possible a meteor could've brought bacterial organisms way back in the day that might've sparked off life here...slowly developing into more complex creatures. Dont know if there is much evidence though.

Apparently the venus flytrap is mainly found in one laocation in sth america (i think) surrounding the location of a meteor crater... crazy coincidence or the offspring of some aien meteor ooze.....?!!!!! Or just some random conspiracy theory? (prob the last!)

Ive heard this theory before along with the idea that beings from another planet bred with cavemen and this gave us our intelligence.
I believe that these theorys may have a basis in science and unless proved otherwise should not be regarded as nonsense.

What intelligence? We are the only species destroying the planet.

Certainly more credible than any supernatural spooky 'God' concept. Don't try to argue with atheists here. You will lose and feel humiliated, yet still cling to your silly beliefs.
I don't envy you.

If this is another god-bothering rhetorical question, you've missed all the facts by a mile. Again.

No, it's not. But after reading your question, I'd also have to wonder "What intelligence?"
