This morning there was blood when I threw up. I only have mild morning sickness and don't vomit frequently. I am going to the doctor in a few days, but for now can anyone tell me what this might be???? I am 28 weeks pregnant.

If there was ALOT of blood then
YOU SHOULD GO TO THE DOCTOR TODAY!!
BUT!.. if it was only a little bit its NORMAL it just means since your throwing up your throat is sensitive & especially if you where vomitting for awhile..
TRUST ME ON THIS 1.. that has once happend to me!
HOPE EVERYTHINGS OKK

if the blood was red and only a little bit i wouldnt worry. However if it was darker and looked similar to coffee grounds go to your doctor as soon as you can.

Most likely you burst a little vein when you vomited, but do call your Doctor today and let him know.

Probably Mallory-Weiss syndrome with rupture of small vessel in esophagus. Others may say you should have multiple tests and esophagoscopy, but I believe in being practical. Unless there is more bleeding and it is heavier, you can wait.
