My hubby and I met on Yahoo Games! ROFL
Dueces Wild Poker, Turtle Lake was the room ....
Neither of us were looking, and we both came to the game around the same time, and kind of clicked right off, but it wasnt until i gave my website URL to someone else in the room, that he went to it and emailed me, and the rest, as they say, is history!
Well, there actually were a few obstacles... like money (or lack thereof), and international borders and immigration laws.
But now, five years later, we are happily married and living together in Canada.

On line. We were both on a site called FindSomeone.com and just looking for someone to chat with. Well we discovered that although we were different people as far as our careers, she an artist and I a youth worker, we had lots in common. After about three weeks of chatting she finally gave me her real name and phone number and we talked on the phone and after a while decided to met. Well the rest is history as this was almost 3 years ago and now we will be walking down the aisle next May 20. Both of us are mature adults, or somewhat mature anyway, Ha! We both have 3 kids each and all the kids love each of us, so this is a great thing also. I consider myself the luckiest man on the earth for finding this woman at this time of my life.

I was blessed with the opportunity to meet my wife on eHarmony. With the answers back and forth between each other, before we talked, it seemed as if we already knew each other. We progressed and meshed our lives to the point we needed each other on a full time basis. Our first date was out of a book or something because it went so well. We went to her favorite town, to go see Larry the Cable Guy movie and we went also to a comedy club and heard some excellent comedians. Had a wonderful dinner at her favorite restaurant and with all that, the town was having a block party for a movie filming and closed all the streets in the downtown area with all kinds of anything going on for the film. We had a wonderful time that night. I hope you have a wonderful first meeting as I did. Good Luck!

I met my b/f through work, he was one of the chefs in the building I worked in. We had been friends for a while as I knew him from working in a different department to him, but only got together when I moved into his department. We are engaged, hope to marry next year, everyone thought we were just a fling, but 2 years down the line we have proved them wrong.

He was a customer at the barber shop which my brother owns. Being the owner's little sister, a lot of guys stayed away from me, but my fiance was very persistant and didn't give up... the two of us would see each other around and just say hi and bye. I was attracted to him because he was always quiet and humble. Then one day i was in waiting for my brother and eating a snack and my fiance walked up to me, didn't say a word and just started eating out of my snack bag. I was in total shock but i didn't say no... we started speaking about a random topic then exchanged phone numbers and have been inseperable ever since.

We went to the same high school. He was a grade older than me so I didn't really know who he was. Then we met at a party on Canada Day and we've been together ever since!!! (almost 5 years)

I had a blind date one night and they guy lived in a different city. I told him to meet me at a friends (Vickie) house close to the place that we were going out. When i got to Vickie's, she was getting ready for a date with a guy (Johnny) that she met that worked in her pharmacy. My date was late then he called and canceled due to his car breaking down. Her date showed up and when he walked in i went to the back and told her how cute i thought he was. Him and i talked while she finished getting ready and i was about to leave when they both asked me to go out with them. I turned down the offer but they insisted so i went along. We went to a local bar that my friend and i frequently visited. She ended up seeing a guy (Ryan) that she was already talking to (not dating seriously) and she told Johnny that she was really into this Ryan and she wanted to hang out with him. Johnny said that was cool and turned around and asked what i was doing on sunday. We hung out and talked all night. I brought him back to his car and gave him my number We went out to New Orleans on Sunday and went to Bubba Gump's Seafood, the aquarium of the americas, and saw an imax movie. That evening we went out in the quarter and danced all night. We are married with an 8 month old son. After he got to know my friend vickie better he started to hate her. Now when he gets aggrivated with me i tell him it could have been worse, he could be married to vickie

Here's the complete address where I met her - http://www.upkb.com/singlesnet.php We were both members of SinglesNet Dating then. We viewed each other's profiles, chatted for a couple of months, until we finally had our real date and fell in love with each other.
