She must be lying.
The longest I have ever heard of was 10 months, and that was back in the 70's. These days no Doctor will allow you to go past 9 months without inducing birth. Even if the baby died inside of her, her body will have a miscarriage to get rid of the baby.

You can't be pregnant for 12 months. Doctors won't let you go past 43 weeks which is just over 9 months. You GF is lying to you.

Maybe she lied to you in the early stages to keep you around and then she got pregnant a few months later, otherwise, the doc would have induced labor by now.
