Home Remedies for flatulence?

Can someone please tell me some home remedies for flatulence / gas? The products should be easily availaible in India. Thanks.

My grandmother use to use a pinch of baking soda with water and she would also put it into her cooking, like beans, to reduce the gas affect. godloveya.
