What's your favorite work by Tolkien? Do you like The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, The Silmarillion, Unfinished tales? LOTR is still my favorite, but the Silmarillion comes in second.

Also, what do you think of the new book, The Children of Húrin, that J.R.R Tolkien's son will be putting out soon? Will you be buying it?

LOTR and the Silmarillion are my two favs. If I see The Children of Hurin in the bookstore and I have the cash for it, I'll consider buying it.

I read the Hobbit in fourth grade, and again in 7th, both times, i didn't like it. When I read LOTR in 8th, I loved it. I guess Hobbit just wasn' t his best works. I read Simrillian, it was good too. I will not read the new book.
